What verification means here
A tutor is only shown as verified once an administrator has checked their identity and their stated qualifications against documents. Until that happens their profile says unverified, plainly. We would rather show you an honest label than a badge that means nothing.
How matching works
You tell us the level, the subjects, where you are, how often, and what you can spend. We shortlist tutors who genuinely fit rather than whoever is nearest, and you meet them before anything is agreed. If the fit is wrong, say so and we will go again.
Home, online, or a centre
Home tuition suits younger students and anyone who needs the routine of a fixed place and time. Online works well for older students, for scarce subjects, and where travel would eat the session. We support all three, and the right answer is usually the one the student will actually turn up to.
What good tutoring looks like
A tutor who is helping will find out where the understanding stops, not start from the current syllabus point and go faster. They will be able to tell you what progress should look like in a month, in specific terms. And they will have a view on what happens between sessions, because two hours a week does not move a grade on its own.
